Ticketing and prices.

Tickets:

  • Single tickets are valid for a single trip in Rostock (train, tram, bus and ferry), changes permitted in direction of travel (adult 2,30 €, child up to 14 yrs 1,70 €)
  • Return tickets are not available.
  • Day tickets are valid from the time of validating ’til upcoming day 3 am. There are three types of day tickets sold:
    • Day ticket (adult 6,00 €, child up to 14 yrs 3,90 €).
    • Group day ticket (16,00 €, up to 5 people).
    • Family day ticket (12,40 €, 1 adult and 4 children up to 14 yrs old or 2 adults and 3 children up to 14 yrs old).
  • Ferry tickets are valid for ferries only (adult 1,50 €, child up to 14 yrs old 1,00 €).

Trains to Rostock (S-Bahn):

Grab your ticket at one of the ticket vending machines at Warnemünde station. Machines accept cash as well as mayor credit cards and maestro cards. Tickets are not sold aboard the train. Validate ticket before entering the train. Note: Tickets are not good for InterCity-Trains!

Ferries to Hohe Düne:

Grab your ticket at the ticket vending machine beside the ferry berth. Machine accepts cash as well as mayor credit cards and maestro cards. Validate ticket before entering the ferry. Ferry tickets are sold aboard the ferry also. Note; They accept cash only!
